Why Send Unrestricted Donations to the Foundation?
The Atlanta Alumnae chapter is proud to support two named scholarships - the Ruth Robie Lacy/Rosemary Longino scholarship and the Suzanne Nichols Lynn/Atlanta Alumnae Chapter scholarship.
In addition, we make an unrestricted donation to the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation annually. Unrestricted donations to the Foundation are important because it allows the Foundation Trustees to direct funds were most needed. Not all scholarships are as well endowed as ours are, so the unrestricted dollars go to augment those scholarships that are not fully endowed. In addition, unresisted Foundation dollars support part of the Educational Leadership Consultant program - which is an invaluable program for all college chapters.
